sweet new potatoes

We also bought our first real Christmas tree this year. Yup, right before the snow storm day and Kaufu and Auntie Tiffaney came over to help us with it. We checked out different places and finally decided on getting it from the garden center down the street. It is about 6 feet tall and very nice and smelly. We were told that the tree would last for a month. Well see about that one. Baba was so strong and carried it up to the roof of our car and strapped it in, even in the cold blistery wind that it was that day and all by himself he carried it into the house. The tree is lovely. Though we learned our first lesson when we heard an avalanche sound on Sunday night and found, ignored it, thinking that it was probably snow coming off of our roof and found the tree down with broken ornaments on the ground. Of course we blamed it on Sebastian. We now understand it is a common occurrence and we are keeping our fingers crossed.
