Changing for bed

From birth I've had the nick name wiggly-worm, as I think many kids do. I continue to live up to it. Here Mammy is having a difficult time changing me into my sleep clothes. I don't stay still for long. I'll turn front to back, back to front, squirm around and crawl away when I get the chance! Come get me if you can!!

Little Performer

Here are some photos of me being animated. Mammy and Daddy were cheering me on one night after they got home from work. I was happy to give them a show. In fact, I got on the "stage" to perform while they looked on. I was yelling up some musical notes to accompany my dramatic gestures. In the other photos I am performing on the piano. It is electronic and I can set it to play some recorded music while I dance to the rhythms. It's one of my favourite things to do!

A ride on the chair

While visiting Great grandma and grandpa, I got to ride on Great grandpas chair up the stairs. I learned very quickly that if I pressed one button I could go up and if I pressed on the other I would go down. I got one last ride with Mammy the day we left.

A visit with Dorothy and Carine

Last weekend we had a visit with Grany Dorothy and Auntie Carine. I enjoy visiting them sometimes with Auntie Anita on the weekdays but this time I went with Mammy and Daddy. It was Grany Dorothy who gave me the Alligator piano and I got a Fisher Price box with blocks that allows me to learn colors and shapes. I have been enjoying both emmensely. They also gave Mammy and Daddy a snow globe with my picture in it. How so thoughtful of the both of them!

Wei Sic

That means "loves to eat with curiosity" in cantonese. There is actually no perfect translation for this phrase but it certainly describes a lot of people like myself and Mammy. Here Daddy is eating his breakfast of scrambled eggs. And I just GOTTA HAVE A BITE! There are many things that I cant eat because of my milk protein allergy and it is hard for Mammy, Daddy and Auntie Anita to keep it away from me. Especially because I am so curious about food. Sometime I whine loudly and scream when I see other eating and I dont get a bite. I know that I am a demanding girl. Mammy and Daddy are going to have their hands full when I grow up!

Doing Push ups

Everyday, I eat 2 big cereal bowls of congee with green veggies, carrots and meat (or fish). I eat apple and pears for a snack and cookies for breakfast. All this food is energy for my active lifestyle. Stair climbing, jumping, dancing, mad crawl races burns up a lot of calories. This is how I stay so slim. Here I am toning and building my upper body strength with some push ups

Maddy and Daddy

Mammy is not very good at photography but here she has caught a few precious moments I have had playing with Daddy. Maddy and Daddy have a good playtime together.

Christmas Hats

Now that Christmas is over, I can catch up on some of this diary. Porpor spent many nights knitting these hats for all of us. It was her great Christmas project and surprise. We almost forgot to get a picture with all the hats. This was taken the late night before we left to come home. Porpor may decide to start a knitting class at work. Daddy got to wear his hat skiing. One of a few hats that actually fits Daddy!

Maddy on the fly

Do you think that I can be the next rising star in the next sequel to Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon?

Kaufu and I

I dont think that Kaufu really likes having his picture taken but with me its different. Because he enjoys playing with me so much. I bet he misses me a lot now that we have gone home. Fortunately he will be visiting soon! Daddy takes great photos of us playing.

Which one do I open first?

The presents you see under the tree are 90% mine ofcourse.

Christmas Eve and Christmas Day!

On christmas eve, the family had a wonderful dinner together with the combined hard work of Porpor, Kaufu, Mammy and Daddy. I was told it was delicious. At the time I was in bed dreaming of all the christmas gifts to be opened. They had fillet mignon, risotto, potato and corn soup, and grilled veggies. A lot of love went into the meal. That night Mammy got quite sick and actually ended up in the emergency room. Food poisoning or stomach flu. Took her out for 3 days. So Christmas day was delayed and we didnt actually open presents till almost dinner time. We were invited to a Christmas dinner but Mammy was too sick to go so Kaufu, Porpor and Daddy stayed home with her. I was a good girl during that whole time while Daddy and Porpor took care of me for that 48 hours.

All my expressions

For our trip out to see the family, Kaufu bought me many items to use in Greatgrandparents house including an exersaucer, playpen, carseat and high chair. Here I am showing all my colors during dinner time. I can carry all the expresions of the 7 dwarfs all in one sitting!

All I want for christmas

I know this is a late entry but I have a lot to catch up on since coming back from our trip to visit my great grandparents, porpor and kaufu for christmas. I havent had much a chance to post on the blog. Well anyways, I got some pretty nice gifts for christmas and came back with a suitcase full of stuff! Thanks everyone! One of the most special things was my TWO FRONT TEETH! Finally! Its tough to eat without teeth you know. Mammy and Daddy wont give me any adult food and it severely restricts my diet. The day that the teeth came in Uncle Carolus and Auntie Pearl were visiting. I met them for the very first time on this day. Unfortunately I was a little cranky and not too pleasant. They finally figured out why I was so whiny and Daddy and Uncle Carolus took a trip to the drug store to buy me some meds. Ah what a relief with that Ambusol lotion on my teeth. I was a new baby! I could enjoy eating once again!
