Halloween

You gotta give it to Por Por, she really spent a lot of time planning a fun Halloween for Di di and me. She researched for many days to perfect her ideas so that we can make some fun decorations this year. It started with paper mache heads for our scarecrows. Then we made spiders and pumpkins and other little things that we enjoy. We are waiting for Halloween day to put it all outside to scare the neighbour's kids...as Di di and Daddy would say...AHAHAHA!!! It was a ton of fun making them and has really made this year special.

Skating

Winter is just around the corner!  Di di and I are excited for the snow.  We tried on all our winter clothes like boots, hats, mittens, coats and pants to make sure it all fits.  Mammy and Daddy are hoping to find activities for us to do in the winter so we don't end up sitting idle inside for 6 months.  We were on a waiting list for skating lessons and finally got the call.  This was our first time on ice.  Ba Ba bought us the skates and helmets the same day and off we went to the arena.  My good friend Vanessa also got signed up and we were able to go together.  It was great to be in the same class.  I felt pretty comfortable on skates and had little trouble standing and moving around.  Di Di on the other hand was a little shaky and fell often.  The teachers don't like to pick us up too much so we have to figure it out ourselves how to get back onto our feet.  Di Di started to get a little tired by the end of the lesson.  Ba Ba thought the lessons were well done.  There were lots of teachers and things were organized.  They encouraged us with bubbles and toys.  We chased bubbles and picked up toys from the ice to bring to a bucket.  We even had a chance to draw pictures on the ice with markers...FUN!

Birthdays and Old Times

Wow, what a fantastic October Thanksgiving weekend!  The temperature is well in the twenties with sunshine everyday.  We celebrated Kau Fu's birthday and Yeh Yeh's as well.  We went to the place Mammy and Ba Ba got married.  It was a nostalgic moment for them and I was very happy to be able to see the place it all happened some seven years ago!
